I live in AZ, Chandler to be excact, and will be going. I know a few other folks from the valley heading up. we will probably be pregaming at FBC.

I actually won tickets from Mule Army so, its an even better excuse to drive to Flag to see mule (if i really needed one).

I live in Phoenix but I'm not making the trip. Big job fair the next day and knowing my want for "adult beverages" at concerts, that will make for a long day the next day. I still might end up talking myself out of the job fair...

BIG SHOUT OUT TO AZ MULE FANS!!!

A four hour drive? I love 4 hour drives. They are the perfect amount of driving. Not too long, not too short. Long enough to listen to one concert or a bunch of commercial cds. I do some of my best listening while driving.

Anyway, there is a woman who runs the Women Who Loves Warren My Space site and she is gonna be at the AZ show, so I know at least one person who will be there.

Now be good Mule fans and go to the show. You won't regret it, especially to see them with Jorgen the new bass player. Wish I could make it but alas life in NYC does demand my attention periodically. :-)

Oh and the Mountains above the desert sounds quite lovely. I could use a shot of that beauty at this juncture.

We've had some great sunset/moonrises the last week or so. You can see why the Phoenix Suns colors are purple and orange. The sky over the Valley of the Sun just explodes at about 5:35pm or so, and melts huge purple and orange streaks.

I hope one day to be able to see that. I've never been to Arizona. I did take that trip to Utah and the north rim of the Grand Canyon and was totally transfixed with the otherworldly beauty of the land, but haven't seen the Arizona or New Mexico vista's yet. One day I hope to.

I think the area around Flagstaff contains some of the most beautiful country in America (Grand Canyon, Sedonia, Oak Creek Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki, and a little further out Canyon de Chelly, Petrified Forest, Lake Powell, Vermillion Cliffs). Have had some remarkable camping trips and adventures in these areas. And southern Utah. Absolutely gorgeous country.
