I know these things cause more debate than praise, but I am not sure about some on this list from Rolling Stone. I for sure think that Gregg should be moved up the list.

Curt Cobain is really just..wow. And he made the 100 best guitarists too, probably for that amazing solo in Teen Spirit. Why the hard-on for this guy?? I just don't understand it.
And anyone who says Warren doesn't have a great voice is just a nitwit. Flame away, but you've got no taste in vocal quality. None.

62 - Lou Reed.

If you like this guy, cool. Singing? More of a spoken word artist to my ears.

I think Warren sings all nasaly or perhaps like a horse. Just my opinion. To each his own.

Not a horse a MULE!!!!!! And maybe its your ears that are all nasally? To each his own.

Rolling Stone, I remember them they said ABB at Fillmore East was dull and uninspiring they cannot be taken seriously also any list that would exclude Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris obviously has no knowledge of music. This is a list put out mosly a little clic of elitist snobs,Rolling Stone please stick to your irrelevant liberalism it's what you do best.

these lists are always bad. there never seems to be a reason for the order or who is included so i'm not even going to get into who should be where on that list. i will say this is an allman brothers forum so of course people want gregg higher, just like if that was an aerosmith forum people would say steven tyler should be higher, etc.
