The age old question...if you could go back and do it all over again.

I suppose for most folks it would be ... certain points in time, sure would love to do over, but other moments, so good can't possibly be done any better...OR so painful, no way would want to do over.

My move from Ohio to Florida...might want to go back and rethink that one, but would never have met my wife and therefore had my kids.

The births of my sons, can't possibly top those moments.

The timeframe I realized I was no longer in love with my ex wife...too painful, don't want to do that one over.

So, I guess in general, my answer is no I would not want to go back in time.

Oh hell yes . . . I'd have to go back 25 years, though. Did some SERIOUSLY stupid things between 15 and 20 years old. Still paying for some of them.

Giving up all the good things that have happened would be worth it to get a "do-over" on two particularly bad decisions.

I always had a fantasy where I would go back in time to about 1961 and record an album of all the Beatles songs that were done in the future, and release it, then take all the credit

I would go back 1 yr and boot the ex from the house. She has made out in every goddam*! way. I have to go back and renegotiate my child support due to the loss of my job. I found out today that she has full access to my severence! Just cannot get ahead! I am facing prison if I cannot pay my Fed taxes. I was going to take 2/3 of it to pay it off and reduce child support till I find a job. Now ?

Yes I would and change some things. 28 years would be good enough for me.

Only if I were able to change things.

Other wise no.

Much too painful.

Randy, I did soome mighty stoopid things 25-30 years ago, too. I'd like to go back and do most of them again!

Yeah, I would, but I can't, so why dwell on it? It mostly has to do with preparing for the future....and one old HS girlfriend.

No regrets here. I'll take my life as it stands. There has been some pain I would not want to live over again. Right now life is good.

I wouldn't change anything. Good or bad those events have made me what I am today and I'm content with where and who I am now.

I definetly would go back to the day my first daughter was born. I was walking on air that day. Best day of my life.

I'm good, just get me back my perky body parts and my 20 year old energy level would be just fine. Work all day, play all night, missing that part. Otherwise all I have left to do is get to Bora Bora and like Dave said I 've got one honey I would like to spend some more time with....... maybe that's not what Dave wanted....maybe he wants to, I don't know, Dave what do you want from that H.S. honey.

If I could I would change minor stuff - made sure I got to Englishtown 9/77 (just talked about that last night), made a point of seeing Little Feat with Lowell, erase some mistakes I made but in general, life is good, have a great wife and a good job. I wouldn't trade any of that.

The one major thing I would like to change relates to fate / nature / illness and is unchangeable, even by going back, so, I'll stay here and now. I'm lucky, and am thankful for it.

Hil, what I meant was, I'd make something more of myself than I did. I think she ultimately dumped me because she didn't think I was going to amount to much. She, on the other hand, became a CPA and a senior VP of two national public companies. Looking back, I don't think we would have made it together, as crazy as we had been about each other at one time. She was money oriented, and I never really have been. Things happen for a reason, I suppose.

Hell no. It took everything I went through to get me in this spot where I am today, with my family and the people I care about and the relationships I have. Its all part of the one big picture. I'm good. Looking forward to tomorrow.

not I... made some choices that could have been better. Nothing worth taking the chance I wouldn't be who I am now. And if I changed some of those "regrettable" choices, I may not have my children and that s not a risk I'm willing to take.

Yes, tell the one person that I loved... that I was *in love* with him and only him... Don't know if the outcome woulda been different.. he was in love with drugs... died in 84'.

I would have gone to all the rock shows that I passed up....Mostly Fillmore..

Oh , and when Gregg Allman asked if me and my girlfriend were going into Manhattan... as he held open the door of his limo... I woulda have said Y E S instead of the NO Thank You I did say.... I often wonder how that evening woulda turned out LOL

I would definitely go back and find Bill Gates circa 1979, when he needed a little money to start his company. And then I'd have given him every red cent I had.
