Another great set list! When they played "When The Music's Over" at Red Rocks it was so unreal. I imagine much of the same last night! "Trying Not To Fall" was great to hear in Burlinton after many years on the shelf and "Life Before Insanity" too!! Sweet!!! Love that they are pulling out some older songs into rotation!

Good song to skip. Looking at that killer setlist, Unring the Bell would've been a total buzz kill as next to last song in the set. Hopefully, since Bush is soon gone, they'll shelf that song permanently.

Highlights were
Banks Of The Deep End
Monkey Hill
Nothing Again
When The Music's Over
Trying Not To Fall
Life Before Insanity

Matt was fantastic last night, especially on Thorazine. Danny was great all night as was Jorgen. I thought the song selection was a little depressing, especially the second set with the only really hopeful song being Dear Prudence and Bad Little Doggie all night. Warren was great up till Livin Lovin Maid then he seemed somewhat deflated the rest of the show. Of course it was a good show though. Warren always puts on a good show. You can't ever go wrong with the Mule.

It was funny. After Nothing Again, Warren throws his pick into the audience, center stage. I think nothing of it. Seen it done a million times before. Just a fling into the center of the front row with no aim or intent. A few seconds after, I feel this little tap on my left foot, not on the sole of my shoe where the material is thick but on my foot right on the side under my little toe. Softly a tap hitting the edge of my left foot, ever slight, and then I knew it settled right next to my foot on the floor. I think, it can't be. But yes, even though I was as far away from front and center as I could be, there right on the floor next to my foot was his pick. Sometimes things have a way of working out right. Even when you least intend it or expect it.

And I was also the recipient of my second Jorgen pick. Unfortunately the first one fell out of my pocket when I bought some merchandise*** up in Geneva. So last night I felt like a few things were put back into place and while things haven't been in sync for a while, maybe these picks know more about the future than any of us. Maybe. I don't know. Time will tell and I am hopeful because without hope there is nothing but paranoia and despair.

Maggot Brain sounded like Beautifully Broken and Indifferent to me at various points in the telling. I couldn't tell what song it was and would not have guessed that one though I am weak on knowing all the instrumentals except for Sco Mule.

After the show I was taken to this great diner in Bordentown NJ called Mastors. They had this really great sweet bread with cheese in it and with cinnamon in it. I ate a very very small piece of each as I am on a very very strict "do it or die" diet. I stuck with grilled chicken, spinach and portabello mushroom, no dressing or mayo and I didn't eat the bread or any fries that came with it. It was a great meal with the other half of the sandwich my breakfast right now. :-) It was nice to get some mental and emotional sustenance at the show and then eat for just the nutritional value instead of busting my gut. Leaves me with some feelings but hey, better than being dead, right.

*** Speaking of Merchandise, did you guys see the stuffed Mule? It is so cute and I bought one last night as they were out of it at the Geneva show. Check it out though they may be out of them again. I also liked the new tour tee shirts and bought a nice KR tour poster to commemorate Jorgen's joining the band.

Later on after reading some other reviews:

You know, Matt was great all night, really he is the heart of that
band. I loved Jorgen and Danny too the whole night. The set list was
very good too, though I was hoping for a new break out.

Maybe I just got depressed with so many depressing songs in the 2nd
set. Maybe it bummed me out so much that Warren seemed deflated to
me. Everyone else thought it was a great show.
