Well, the chances are 1 in one thousand that 666 will come up. Given that it's a daily drawing, you can expect to see 666 once every three years or so.

Perhaps it was your intention to draw attention to not only the first entry, but also the 2nd and 5th. That's where it gets weird IMO.

Let's see if I can figure the probability of those two combinations . . .

Game 1, Daily 4, Drawing three numbers in sequence followed by an unmatched number:

First number can be anything: 1/1 chance. 2nd number has to match the 1st, 1/10 chance. Third number has to match the 2nd, 1/10 chance, fourth number can be anything accept a match for the first three, 9/10 chance.

So, we've got 1/1 x 1/10 x 1/10 x 9/10 = 9/1,000, or 1:.009 chance of things turning out how they did in Game 1.

Game 2, Midday three, two numbers matching numbers 1-3 in game one, third number matching 4th number in game 1 (here's where it might get away from me).

First number has to be a 7, 1/10 chance, 2nd number has to be a 7, 1/10 chance, 3rd number has to be a 9, 1/10 chance. - I don't need to do the math again, that's simply 1/1000.

If I'm figuring this correctly, if you've got a 9/1000 chance of the a 7,7,7,9 and a 1/1000 chance of a 7,7,9, altogether that gives you a 9 in one million chance of those two games, the Daily 4 and Midday 3 coming up as they did.

I should point out that the 7's and 9's are incidental, the numbers could have been 4,4,4,5 and 4,4,5 and the probability would be the same.

So, my conclusion after all this convoluted bullcrap is that 666 happening once is nowhere near as rare as seeing 7779 and 779 happen on the same day.

Have a nice afternoon.

Doom shall rise.

Now that I have contributed to this thread, it may fall down to the back pages like the rest of the threads I have added a comment to.....odd.
Peace,
