Weren't those great setlists back then? And the 89 Dreams tour had cool setlists too, loved Dickey, Warren and Woody playing those old ABB tunes.

Good topic. Just when I thought I couldn't discect the ABB anymore.....

I never really thought of this either. I can't really even count how many beacon shows I've been to. It took a while but I realized that the only other indoor venue I've seen them in was Roseland. This was for the One For Woody show with the rare Jimmy Herring/Warren line up. Did they ever fill that room with sound !!.......

I can't forget all those Orpheum Theater shows too. 4 or 5 times there I believe and the old City Club in Boston plus the old Living Room in Rhode Island and also the old EM Leow's in Mass. All of these except for the Orpheum are places of the past! The years all vary from mid 80's to early 90's!

Oakdale Theatre in CT, not sure of the year, but Dickey was still in the band, so I'd put it '93-94 or thereabouts. They play a big shed in CT (Meadows or Dodge) which may be an outdoor venue, but it's got a roof and basically three sides, so to me that's really indoors.

The ABB/Dead for Obama show. It was the first time I had seen them indoors. I was juiced on the kool-aid so I am not sure if I am a real good review but it was FANTASTIC !!! The best concert I have ever seen them put on. It was unfair for the dead to have to follow them. I could imagine what Gregg said to Bobby as he passed them going off stage. I mean really, how do you follow that. It was easy to pick the dead apart after that stellar set by the Allmans. It was worth the trip alone.

Yes, I was at that SRV show at EM Leows! That's when it was still a sit down theater! Now it's called The Palladium and Mule has played there twice. Sadly, it has not seen any renovations and it shows!

Yurtle that was a kick ass show.

Columbia, SC 2000 I think Susan opened. The sound was horrible in that venue.

Yes, been here a long time. There are so many shows in this area that I think I would go through withdrawals if I moved too far away! LOL!
