I have had more phone calls this year from the candidates then any other election in my 30 yrs. of voting. All the visits from the candidates to the state are making it look that way. I live here, but hate the politics of my state. From Governor all the way to our commisioners, and other city offices are nothing but a bunch of crooks. The election was not run right in this state in 04, and I don't expect any better this year. Don't take this out on Derek. We live in different counties. I'm just sick of it all receiving about 20 calls a day which are not covered by the do not call list.

I keep our home phone turned off so the calls go to the answering system. Then I can check the messages at my leisure and delete the automated ones.

No, Ohio will not be the deciding factor this time. Obama is making inroads in all sort of former red states, like IA, VA, CO and others. It's probably just that the campaigns assumed OH and FL would be important like last time. Mute the ringer!

I've had a lot of calls, too, Mulehead so don't think it's just Ohio (btw - IA here). Have also had repeated polls (which I don't recall previously).

It appears that Ohio is going Obama's way, and if McCain wins, he'll have to do it somewhere else.

Again, I hope whoever wins does it in a big way, and we don't have all the fighting about voter fraud like we've had in the past.

Funny, I don't get any robocalls here in California.

1) I keep getting a lot of calls on my answering machine that just go "click"
2) It depends on how many times Derek votes.
3)The "Vote From Home" voters may face challenges from what I hear about "What do you mean I have to remain in the state?" requirements.
