Revolver (hands down one the best albums ever recorded IMO)

I'm Only Sleeping (Paul is a genius bassist)
I Want You
The Word
She Said, She Said (Ringo!!)
Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite

It really speaks to the depth of their songwriting that not a single one of my favorite songs are "hits", several of their albums are stocked front to back with great songs

Revolver hands down.

But from Abbey Road on, I'd hate to be forced to pick just one to own.

Some of my fave songs not on those albums:
Good Morning Good Morning
A Little Help from My Friends
Dear Prudence
All You Need Is Love
I'm Looking Through You
And Your Bird Can Sing
Rain
Let It Be

But it's pretty much ALL good.

Oh man, where to begin?

Top three are Abbey Road, Rubber Soul and Please, Please Me (my first Beatles album)

Top songs:

"Mean Mr. Mustard / Polythene Pam / She Came In Through the Bathroom Window" (love George's guitar playing on those)

"Baby You're a Rich Man" (Magical Mystery Tour is highly underrated)

"Flying" (I always thought this little nugget of an instrumental would get a nice work out from someone like Derek)

"Norwegian Wood"

"A Day in the Life" (probably the greatest pop song ever recorded)

Oh, and all of the rest!

I agree that Revolver is the Beatles greatest album, besides the two you mention there is Taxman, Eleanor Rigby,Got to Get You Into My Life, Here There and Everywhere, For No One, And Your Bird Can Sing and others.

Other particular songs I love are I am The Walrus, Good Morning Good Morning, Rain, Lovely Rita Meter Maid, I Dig A Pony. The list is really endless

No, that was Lynyrd Skynyrd. There wasn't a single musician in that band. Just noisemakers.

I know it's not an actual "album" but I played the heck out of the Blue Album (1967-1970) on eight track in my youth. That said, my current fave song wasn't on that collection. For some reason it's "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window".

Rubber Soul
Revolver
Abbey Road
White Album
Magical Mystery Tour

Favorite song ... another impossible question... there are too many to count. I think Lennon and McCartney and Harrison are all genius.

Abbey Road....I must confess though I do not own even 1 BEATLES lp or cd.

Something is probably my fave fab four song. This could be a little like who's on first.
