not lovin the Keytar, but overall, lovin Dickey and Dan and the overall performance. Very tight and sounding great!

I think the '81 band, in spite of the keytar and Jaimo's absence was a great band. On the "Brothers Of The Road" video they played so fast and tight. When they reformed in '89 they slowed down "Southbound" and "Jessica", I don't know why.

Geez.. I've been a fan since 1973....

Is there anything this band can do that some won't step forward and say "That was terrible"?

The women singing in the background absolutely ruined the original feel of this song. Sounded like a cheap Lynyrd Skynyrd rip-off. Add to that, they weren't even in key.

Gregg's voice was shot..
The Keytar is pathetic
Dickey played well enough, but I think the main reason for the band's demise in the 80's was Dickey's being the front man...the "Star" of the show

That was nice of Dickey, Lettin' Gregg sing a single verse like that...

Oh... and That was painful to watch.

I thrive on pain, I liked it. Gregg liked the keytar solo, I saw his foot stompin' away. Dickey & Dan rocked out. I wish I could see the rest of that show.

The keytar may be the single lowest point for this band, even with all the tragedy that they've been through. I can see giving in to record companies (a little) and allowing that crap on a record but they didn't have to take him on the road. That's ridiculous. This guy totally ruins the "Brothers Of The Road" DVD and is the sole reason I don't watch it more often.

I'll be honest, I really like this version. Yes gregg's voice is shot, but dickey's voice and playing are in fine form. Yes, the keytar was disgusting, Mike could really tear it up on Jessica and Blue sky on regular piano.

Except for Lawler,I thought they rocked it great!
But I still have that vived memory of seeing the Keytar the first time, and saying....WTF?!
I've certainly gotten used to hearing Gregg's vocals sounding like crap over the years,so that doesn't phase me a bit.
