I want to say that although I have not been a member for long, I have been reading this board for a long time. I was at the Red Rocks show and it was after that I decided to join. I have been amazed at the friendship, respect, love and kindness among 99% of you. That 1% of idiot who try to mess with the good folks here is just disgusting. It seems that the women are always a target and for what?? Jealousy?? I don't get that but just wanted to say that the love and friendship shared here certainly is a beautiful gift!!

Thanks for the very nice and kind words, we have our bad times, but we have a LOT of GOOD.

You sure are welcome to be part of this special place.

Welcome to the greatest site in the world!

Yeah, we've got our share of whiners and bullies ... probably relates to their short ticket stub collection. I think it's called, "stub envy" or something.

If you do wander over, wear a metal cup.
Welcome. I've found that all the folks here are very warm and friendly. The best shows are the ones where we get a chance to meet up before or afterwards.

Like all families, we have our dysfunctional moments and occasional black sheep. Overall, you found the best place on the internet. Welcome!

That's nice to hear, especially since there have been several negative threads about the site in general in the last couple of months. Lefty said it: "The good far outweighs the bad." TRUE.

Welcome aboard. It is a great place to make friends and find out about some damn good music.
This site could be compared to a Rose Bush. Below every beautiful rose is a thorn that can stick you. You just got to be careful in the way you pick them..................

Alot of that will end once this wretched mess of an election is over, IMO.

Welcome to the site. To echo the sentiments of several above, here's a few lines from one of my favorite gospel songs, not written by, but largely popularized by, the late pastor of my wife's childhood church. I had the pleasure of hearing the late Rev. Lenox perform this live:

I've had some good days
I've had some hills to climb
I've had some weary days
And some sleepless nights
But when I look around
And I think things over
All of my good days
Outweigh my bad days
I won't complain

Change the "days" to "people" in a few places, and you've got a pretty good measure of this place.

Not the best recording, and he's using a bit too much tremolo, IMO, but this will give you the idea.

Different tune, but perhaps a better performance:
