"Kenny Crab" or "Crabby" or "Kenny Crab Babb" = This was given to me in High School, the first running car I had was a Karman Ghia. My friends said it looked like a Crab, they called it the Crab Moblie and me Crabby.

Of course when a female heard that nickname and did not know me they always thought of something else. I always made sure to tell them why I was called that.

My Ghia looked like this one, except the body was more banged up. It had like this huge rip in the left front fender :

Not this kind of crab:

Also, the Brothers at work have called me these nicknames at one time or another :

K-Beastie
K-Beef
Dead Weight
Skull and Crossbones

The most common is just plain old "K.B", a lot of folks call me that. All my bosses at work do.

So how about you, gotta nickname.

Uhhhhhh......Big Dave

When I was in my late teens, early 20's, a group of guys I worked with at a gas station in IN used to call me Smitty P. after an old mechanic we all worked with. We'd be slammed at the pumps and I'd be trying to figure out what was making the noise under the hood of someone's car, which was the mechanic's job, not mine.

The guys at Coors called me Barney Rubble

Most of the folks at Little Debbie called me The Governor. First it was the Mayor because I knew so many people in the area I worked. Then when I moved up and had a District, I knew many folks already in that area too. So The Governor nickname took over...............

Ninja.

When I was in college I had a summer job and everyone there ended up with a nickname based upon their personal quirks. Before I was hired, one of the employees, (not the brightest crayon in the box) went to the boss and said, “We should name the next new employee ‘Ninja’.”

Obviously it doesn’t work that way and ironically no nickname they tried out on me ever stuck, but Ninja would have been cool.

LOL - yes. When my grandson was younger he would get so excited to tell me everything when I visited that his mouth moved a little quicker than his thoughts and he would get Deb turned around to Bed and it just kind of stuck.

I was good at coming up with nicknames.

I had a friend in school that was always bumming cigarettes, Beers, Joints...etc. We called him "Leech"

One friend had a mouth like Steven Tyler, we called him "Rubber Lips"

Another friend had long hair and arms like Popeye..they were bigger from the hands up. We called him "Oggah" like a caveman.

Another had a big head and we called him "Head Man" like Stymey on the Little Rascals used to say.

Another friend named Mel loved Metallica and played their music all the time...hence the name "Meltallica".

Forgot one. In high school my friends called me Ozzy. I was listening to Ozzy and Black Sabbath while everyone else was line dancing to "Achy Breaky Heart". ICK!!

As a teen . . ."Stoner."

God, I hated that.

I partied, sure, but I was like the straightest one of the group . . . I wasn't waking up in lock-up trying to figure out how I got there; like some of the clowns I hung out with.

My last name is Stone, so I guess it was an easy one.

BigV came about because I am 6' 4". Some time ago, (cough, cough)...some photos were being passed around at a local bar that included me standing amongst some vertically challenged friends. As the photo made the rounds, someone looked at the photo and barked out, "BIG V !".... (my name is Vince) it seemed as though every person that saw the photo in the next 5 minutes felt inclined to loudly say the same thing...BIG V...it just stuck.

I think that is where the folks at Coors were coming from..........I have a bigger beer gut than Barney though.....after a while they narrowed it down to Barn.
