After listening to the 2 disc set (haven't listened to the bonus yet)
I would say the song selection is typical '78 Dead. They are clearly enjoying themselves
and all instruments come through clearly (esp Phil's bass). The sound is VERY good.

Will have to watch the dvd when i get home tonight.

This is a good 'un

I bought my copy of Egypt '78 today at Best Buy in NYC. The young Black girls working behind the counter were clueless. One co-worker asked the other who they were and she replied "some rock band." Then I said "from the 70s, probably before you were born."

lol i had the same thing one time at bestbuy. i asked if they had the new jeff beck (this was about 5 years ago) and the person working there handed me a cd by that guy beck. i was like wtf?? i told he no jeff beck and he said thats him right. i said no i'm talking about legendary guitar player jeff beck and he was clueless.


anyways i'm getting egypt this weekend. the dvd should be good

I ordered the whole deal with the 2 disc + 1 dvd, plus the bonus disc and the new road trips... It shipped yesterday, but I'm not suppossed to get it until Friday.
