Have been a fan since season one. Dwight is one of a kind, can't help but like Jim & Pam together, think they will finally tie the knot? Looking forward to what happens tonight with Dwight and Angela. Great show.

I hadn't.

IMO, that would be a colossal mistake. The program plays so well since the focus is not on a single character but the combination of all the personalities.

If the rumor is once The Office stops shooting, I still don't see the Dwight character carrying a show all by himself. Anyone remember Abe Vogoda in "Fish" after "Barney Miller" ended? Ouch!

Definitely one of my favorite shows on TV....cannot WAIT for tonight's season opener. My husband gets so sick of me saying "that's what she said" to anything and everything!! My daughter got me hooked on this show. I even play on their online virtual office site called "Dunder Mifflin Infinity". You join an office and do "tasks" and such.

I love the Office. Great mix of characters. Dwight rules!! Diversity Day was hilarioius!!!

Ricky Gervais did a good cross over from the original UK Office to fit the US comedy standard. I have seen that series also but there's too much local pop. culture for me to understand. His Extra's series was very funny (sorry, I digress)

Yep, this is one of my wife & my's "don't miss shows"...even DVR every episode for later repeat viewing because we usually miss something due to laughing so hard the first time through.

no, steve correll gets on my nerves.

Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) is SO annoying that it's uncomfortable to watch him (exponentially so when he's in the company of his ex-boss/ex-girlfriend Jan (Melora Hardin)). That's one of the drawing points to the show for my wife & me.

Ryan Howard (BJ Novak)...hmmm, somebody on the show a Phillies fan?...since he got Jan's job is almost MORE annoying than Michael Scott, to me. He was more likeable as "the Temp".

But, the rest of the cast is LOL funny, as well. I think the show would lose something if Jim & Pam actually DO tie the knot.

One of my favorites of the lesser characters is Creed. It's kind of interesting how he gets to use his own full name as his character's name. In case nobody remembers or knew in the first place, Creed Bratton used to be the lead guitarist for The Grassroots ("Wait A Million Years", "Midnight Confessions", "Heaven Knows", "Where Were You When I Need You", "Bella Linda", etc) back in the late '60s/early '70s.

wife & i love this show too. each character has had some hilarious moments. they play off each other so well. i've only seen the brit version of this a few times.

keeping the fun in dysfunctional!! there are some great "make you squirm" moments and that's what doubles me over. we love hbo's entourage too for the same kind of moments, kevin dillion kills me!!

Great show!

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/bios/Amy_Poehler.shtml

From Amy Poehler's SNL Bio page :

Poehler also recently signed on to star in the highly anticipated untitled NBC comedy series from producers Greg Daniels and Mike Schur (“The Office.”) The series is slated to join NBC’s Thursday night comedy block in 2009.

Don't know if it will be a spin off or not...

It was on company property, with company property. So, double jeopardy, we're fine.

The best show on tv. Creed is great. If you get a chance to check out any of the dvds, there is a great scene from the "Booze Cruise" episode that has Creed jammin' on guitar with the band on the boat.

That "Booze Cruise" episode was filmed right outside my office building (at the Catalina Island terminal...across the bay from the Queen Mary) here in Long Beach, CA. I remember when they were filming, the cast & crew were boarding the boat right as everyone was getting off of work. There are a couple of VERY quick shots of my building in the background. I don't recall seeing Creed jamming with the band, but thanks for the tip so I can look out for it when they show the episode on TBS.

So, that prim Angela was gettin' it on with Dwight in the warehouse, when she is engaged to Andy!

How about Kelly: "I am dieting anyway. I just bought 2 bikinis online and they're size 2 so....

The Jim & Pam thing is getting corny.

How 'bout that rap? Wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki, What!
