Peter Criss would be around the Top 10 Million Mark. Hell he couldn't even play on his own albums. Strange pick but I guess Matt just likes him.

My top 10, not to say any of the others mentioned are not great players, but these are the players that I have aspired to over my 30 odd years of pounding the skins.

John Bonham
Neil Peart
Buddy Rich
Gene Krupa
Ian Paice
Phil Ehart
Butch Trucks
Charlie Watts
Carl Palmer
Paul Riddle

Funny I think of Butch and Jaimoe as one drummer, but anyone remember Michael Shreive from Santana? His solo from Woodstock 69 during Soul Sacrifice still floors me and back then he was only 18 years old. Also no one has mentioned the late Buddy Miles the driving force in The Band of Gypsys.

Dino Danelli from his Rascal days was the Buddy Rich Of Rock. It's hard to tell from the records, he never shows off, bit he was a showman live. Check out YouTube Young Rascals Good Lovin. School boy uniforms pic. 5th down.

I like this list with the exception of Bozzio. He honestly bored me when I saw him with Beck. Don Brewer back in GFR's heyday.
