Many of you probably have this by now, what do you think?

We're all very proud of this issue, and I think we're really coming into our own as a full-color magazine. Art Director Lindsey Rogers did a great job on this one, which is probably the best-looking magazine we've ever put out.

I know that due to the mysteries of bulk mail some of you won't have it yet, but we always love to hear feedback about HTN from our readers. What is your favorite article? Is there anything we could do better? We'd love to hear your thoughts.

Mulebrother, I think you'll really like this interview with Ray LaMontagne.

He is known for being very shy and doesn't talk to the press much, so we feel very grateful that we was so open and forthcoming with us.

I know you'll dig it!

Josh, I sent you a package with around 6 copies by Priority Mail, so you would have plenty of copies of your Photo Session. It really came out great, nice work!

Hopefully most of you will have it soon, I've given up trying to figure out bulk mail.....

I got my copy a week ago. It shocked me because I had just bought the subscription less then a month ago at the DTE show. Love it from cover to cover!

I posted this on the GB. Reading Joe's article on Little Brother now. Had to go outside and water the grass.

I received my Hittin the Note Mag. today!

As always, I sit at once and start to read it.

I usually ( after checking out the cover) read the contents first followed by John Lynskey's Editor's notes.

Today I went to Editor's Notes first.
After reading it I thumbed through until I stoped at " Bill Ector: He Always Made Me Smile"

Great read. It brought a tear to my eye and a rush to my body !

Thanks John. Thanks Hittin the Note.

It was a pleasure to know you Bill.

Go Georgia Tech !!

It took a great deal of persistence to land the interview with Ray, and I'd like to thank Warren Haynes for helping us get it - his agreement to do a sidebar on Ray was the factor that tipped the scales in our favor, and I'm grateful for Warren's help - the guys in the ABB always have treated us as family, and this is another example of that - also, Terry Adams did a superb job in getting Ray to open up - it really is an insighful interview with a very private artist

Losing Bill was something that hit all of us at HTN very hard, and in ways that are difficult to put into words - my piece just wrote itself; it happened very quickly, and I'm glad it moved you - Bill was the man, and he always will be

I got mine Friday. Took it to Charleston with me and read it there. John's tribute to Bill, near the back of the issue, is the eulogy John read at Bill's memorial. Very thoughtful and heartfelt...

I miss Bill, too.

And I enjoyed the review of Randall Bramblett Band's latest effort, Now It's Tomorrow. Used To Rule The World is my favorite track, followed by Blue Road.
