I love Little Feat, new & old, so I eat up those old videos on Youtube. Thank you.

I also have to say that Mick Taylor is a favorite. His lack of career after leaving the Stones is one of the rock n roll mysteries of all-time. Even today, it's amazing he isn't on stage with legacy acts who are still kicking hard like Winwood, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Townshend et al. Or playing with some younger guys.

I know he wasn't a singer and that was a limiting factor for him, but I guess he probably just doesn't like the rock n roll touring lifestyle. He's done some stuff, but considering what he did from 1969-1974 (and even before that with Mayall), it's hard to believe he's so far off the radar since.

Anyway, great video. Thanks!

Mick has done a TON of touring (from 1987-2003 in particular) , but he is not a great frontman / stage personality, singer, songwriter, promoter, interviewee, businessman, or bandleader. He just likes to jam blues.

However, if y'all are fans, the Mick Taylor to check out is from his stints with John Mayall and Bob Dylan, from 1982-1984. I think he played even better in thos years than he did with the Stones, though I prefer the Stones' catalogue of songs.

If you dig really deep, Mick's very brief stints in the touring bands of Jack Bruce (1975) and Alvin Lee (1981) also had some great moments of guitar.

One of my all-time faves, Mick Taylor! Remember that Lowell George guested on Mick's self-titled 1979 solo album and also that Dickey Betts had Mick as a guest live in 1988.

He plays with some European blues bands off and on for small Euro tours...plays bluesfests with his own band...he toured as part of the Hendrix Experience Tribute last fall (as did Andy Aledort of the Dickey Betts Band)...he was doing recording sessions for quite a while as a hired guitar gun but I have not seen him doing that lately.
