A number of days ago I posted a James Fallows piece where he maintained that conservatives were not willing to state what was wrong about John McCain's approach. Fallows might have been premature in this charge. More and more conservatives are coming out and speaking critically of what McCain is trying to do.

Edit. I had a Mitt Romney video up but the date is unclear.

You just know when O'Reilly defends Obama the RNC has done something really dastardly. I have to give him props for saying what he did.

I thought I'd see pigs fly before I heard something like this. Uh oh, guess I'm in trouble with Palin now for the pig reference!

I watched some of O'Reilly's interview with Obama, and I think he has a lot more respect for Obama since he sat down and talked to him. At least that is what he has said. And it appears to be the case.

LOL - this is quite a surprise! Wonder if O'Reilly had to swig Maalox after this???
And Brock - just don't use the 'P' word with the 'L' word and you'll be ok...

I think O'Reilly does a good job selectively ripping Republicans to appear balanced. I don't know if he does it for effect, or really means it. I did catch part of his Obama interview and thought both men came off very well.

I dare say that the public maybe, just maybe, getting sick off ALL the mudslinging partisan crap that has bogged down the political process for too long, and pundits like O'Reilly are slowly realizing it...?

No, wait. Never mind. It's only the left that does it as they are to blame for everything. I keep forgetting. I'm new to this "sit down and shut up and your candidate will win" deal I've been told over the last few days.

Haven't some of us here that claim to be conservatives been saying for a long time that neither McCain nor the Republicans represent conservative thought? Certainly Bush left anything close to a conservative platform long ago. They all abandoned that philosophy, and the neo-con label is just a sham to try and connect to real conservatives.

Could he be echoing that stance?

Suddenly Bill 'O'Liely' is a hero to the left? Talk about lacking in core values, whoa!

Right on...I wouldn't be quick to fall for these comments from Bill O'Reilly.
