I just wonder what happened with Andy? Was he not getting along with the others? He sounded good at the Rocks.

IF it ends up being Rzab, why didn't they go with him in the first place? He was on The Deepest End CD and DVD and did a fine job on the tracks he played on then....And that's not saying anything bad about Hess....but it could have saved Warren the trouble of having to change players after all this time.

The inside word is that it is a "new" name. Suprised by the secrecy involved with this but I can respect others wishes.

Rob Baracco is filling in for the Fall tour according to the eMule folks who just heard Stef announce it on Sirius!

Stef said to stay tuned to the official Web page for an announcement.

I have no clue if this is true but I just got so many emails stating this!

It'll never happen but Dave Schools would be a badass fit in the Mule.

I believe he is. Thats probably a pretty good gig too. But how much is Ozzy touring?

Really I would be happy with anyone that will turn it up. Show some presence. I had a hard time hearing Andy at the shows. Andy is a awesome bassist and I hate to see him go.

It seems that over on mulearmy someone is saying that stef confirmed that it is Jonas Helborg who is going to be playing bass for Mule. Jonas Helbord is definately not a no name Euro bassist in the mainstream. This guy is massively known amongst guitar/bass instrumentalists. So if this is true, it should be very interesting.

Jonas Hellborg is a great bass player....but not the bass player Mule needs. He's more of a slap popper type bass player. His tone is too trebley.

I said "new" name not an unknown one.

A couple of other names have been bounced off of me and a couple were not players that I would expect.

Either of these guys sound interesting! But Barraco would have to take time off from DSO if he went with Mule

http://www.darkstarorchestra.net/NEWSITE/HTML/dso.php?sec=tour

There are many conflicts with the 2 schedules
