I really feel dumb. Yesterday morning I'm in a hurry to leave my house and I have one of those Sonicare toothbrushes that does all the work for you so I'm moving about the house and when I went back to the bathroom I rammed my toes right into the door frame. I broke my middle toe and have been in a fair amount of pain the last day and a half. The only good to come out of it was the pain medicine the doctor prescribed for me! Hopefully I'll be recovered in time for the ABB shows in Charlotte and Atlanta! Anyone else got any embarassing household accidents they'd care to share?

Like the time I cut the tip of my finger off using a mandolin to slice eggplant?
Or the time I cut the tip of my finger off trimming the hedges?

I have a few more...I'm kinda accident prone.

LOL - where to begin...? More painful and scary than embarrassing but when I was 3 years old I cut 3 fingers off (well, to a dangling from skin stage) while climbing on a kitchen stool and had 250+ stitches and some pretty extensive surgery to have them reattached. 50+ years later I can remember the smell of the blood, what I was wearing, having my hand all wrapped and bandaged for what seemed like forever (but no complaints - there are scars but I have a working hand!)

I have sliced a few fingers, broke my toe and left pinkie finger running up wood stairs to help my kids who had also fallen. My biggest problem seems to be accidents with my head

1.) Fell off sled onto ice - unconcious for a couple hours and 4 stitches

2.) Spinning in chair hit head on end table - 3 stitches

3.) Hit head on kitchen cabinet - 3 stitches

4.) Fell thru glass coffee table - 6 stitches

5.) Fell off bike - 2 stitches

6.) Fell off skateboard in basement - 5 stitches

7.) Claw end of hammer stuck in head 3 stitches

The grey hair on your parent's head...priceless. Sounds like a Mastercard commercial...and my accidents growing up too.
