I know there are MANY great shows from this year...

But, if you could only purchase the SBD from one...which would you recommend?

...and why? :-)

Thanks!

I haven't had a chance to listen to all the shows yet, but I've heard most of them, and the following ones really seem to stand out to me...

Jones Beach 8/13
Camden 8/23
Clarkston 8/27
Red Rocks 8/30

The whole August tour was pretty darn good, from what I'm hearing, but these shows seem to have a little something extra. Check out the setlists of those four shows, pick the setlist that gets you the most excited, and you can't go wrong!

RED ROCKS!!! Not one flub or error just pure musical bliss in the most acoustically correct venue!! This was an extended show so more for the buck!

I will however add that I do think the Atlanta shows will be very special as an "Evening With" so unless you are in a hurry, you may want to hold off to be sure!

All this talk and I had to just go order some. Red Rocks and Camden were my choices.

Be patient and see what kind of reviews come in on the late Sept-Oct shows. Me thinks the Atlanta evening with shows will be on everyone's Christmas wish-list!

Somebody "heard" that the instant live recording of the Red Rocks show was "muddy". Is this accurate?

Good point about the Atlanta shows, I fully expect them to be epic!

However, these August shows aren't exactly shabby either

When opening Preview from the RedRocks show it says PRE-ORDER, Downloads not ready yet?

Is this info out of date or do we still have to wait?

I am predjudiced about Red Rocks, so I agree with Sue. My reaction all night was 'Is it just the good mood I am in, or are they really spot on tonight?'

I know all the talk is Red Rocks and yes it is a fantastic show. I took Rob's advice and may have found a sleeper killer show of August. DTE Clarkston Michigan. The band is on fire. Highlights are Hot Lanta, Who To Believe (Gregg is amazing!), Black Hearted Woman, Trouble No More and the best IMOER -> JaBuMa -> IMOER. The bass solo is worth the price alone. (no scat) Finally Preachin Blues

this is one to have
