They just ID'ed the woman who was killed by the freight train in Hartford after the show. They said she was lying on the tracks (not a suicide attempt) and her legs were severed.

Morgan Lancer, 26, Burlington, Vermont. Rest in peace.

I remember hopping trains to go back and forth between Lawrence and Oaklandon, two areas of northeastern Indy connected by SR67 and the train track, and one time, the train was going a little faster than I had realized. I grabbed a rail on the side ladder and I got snatched up off of my feet and started swinging back and forth under the train. I swung away from the train and I let go of that bastard! I hit the ballast and got good and scraped up. That was the last time I EVER hopped a train. I was around 14 or so.....

This is really awful...what a tragedy. Didn't see anything at the show or outside about it. Prayers for her soul and her family.

Very sad...we were walking from the venue up the main road and heard weird sounds coming from the tracks. It was like puffing compresssed air or a power washer. We stppoed and looked but only saw flashlights and people talking. This was about 12:40. (The show ended at 12:30) We saw the news report the next day. It's very sad. Does anyone know if she was at the show? They seem to know definitively that it wasn't suicide. I wonder why she was there.

Good bless

Unfortunately, there are reports from a fairly accurate source that there was a needle involved in this tragedy. Draw your own conclusions.

Appears going to Allman Brothers shows is getting hazardous.
Here is an article about a guy who fell and later died at the show in Canandaigua last night.

One would think that it's that simple. But, you see these tragedies time and time again. Presumably, drugs and/or alcohol's involved quite a bit.
