Big Plans

Looks like I might have to get a few Beacon shows in.

Thanks for the read. I really hope a new album does come out.

This is good....fitting. Lifts my spirits. If they can get the surviving cast of characters from Macon, the roadies, former members, maybe even the Dominos and some of the Muscle Shoals people, some of the guys from back in Florida, the early incarnations.
It would have to be a glorious time. Healing for some. You can almost hear Duane, Berry, Joe Dan, Callahan, WHE saying, "There you go, guys....good job."

I would love to see your copy. I just found it in the Dickey Betts part of the photo section on the site here and copied it to Photobucket. I'm seriously into the 1974 Richard Betts shows and Highway Call album right now.

I know you won't be there for the next jam, so I'll bring it to the one after that.

Are you going to the dinner Saturday night? I can bring it then.

i like the last paragraph and a half - and guitarist Warren Haynes says there's "probably about half an album done" and ready to record, hopefully in the new year.

"We haven't been able to think about much lately except getting through this year," Allman notes, "but, yeah, next year will be really nice to get into the studio. We're looking forward to that."

Thanks Eddie for posting this - but I am thinking the website must be getting slammed - cause it won't come up for me. I even googled it - found it, and it still won't come up......sad but happy! I can't read it - but I trust in all of you doing cyber cartwheerls!

So I will just add a WHOO HOO and start saving me pennies for as many shows as I can git to!

TRA LA LA!

Do you think they might bury the hatchet for the 40th? At least for a little while?
Maybe Dickey will show up for a few numbers. That would be great.

This sounds good. New York trip in my future. Maybe. Does anybody have an extra bed for a poor college student so he can goto the Beacon at least once?
