Been thinking about all of you on the East Coast Jessie... Bill Thames, Linnie, Peachjam, Paul, Heidi and many more! Getting ready to head out to a store and get me some batteries, ice, food and water. I'm on a hill so flooding isn't a concern - just the trees over the house and power outages. Just turn up the music and chill for another day or two - see you at SOS soon

We're in the eye of the storm right now. A nice reprieve but there's a TON of rain behind it. Last night was bad and I expect tonight will be no better.

I lost power this a.m. getting ready for work but it's back on now. I think the worst is yet to come for us in central Fla.

Thanks, Deb. Yes, that is correct. Brevard County, which is south of where I am, is experiencing major flooding and it's still raining down there!

This is one weird storm! And YES, apparently 30 inches has happened in a number of places! my sister over in St Augustine got rain ALL NIGHT and there is still more to come!
We are expecting a lot of rain here in Tallahassee, starting tonight and going all the way through Saturday. I know we need it but COME ON.........those folks further south and east of here have had ENOUGH!!
Hope some of it does come up your way all you folks in Georgia...................its a large storm so hopefully some of the bands will reach up to you!

They are forecasting the rain will hit here in NC Monday or Tuesday. Very slow storm. We need it very bad. I would love to see it rain for a couple weeks straight up this way.......I sure hope you folks are staying dry. Thirty inches of rain sure can make a mess.

No power using a Air Card. Gusts 60 mph. A few trees down. Already drinking the brown juice Scotch of course.

Happy hour!! Everything is fine. Kind of exciting. Going to put in a CD in my battery operated CD player REO( Riding the storm out)

Back in October 1990, TS Marcos came through the Augusta area and dropped 14 inches of rain in 36 hours. Lots of flooding, washed out culverts, even a few drowning deaths as some folks tried to drive through flooded area, only to find out the hard way the roads were washed out. So don't cross over any flooded areas, boys and girls. There may be a surprise in store for you.
