I do believe that is a debut performance, Brock.

I would bet Warren sang it, he seems to like Willie Dixon songs Who doesn't?

Willie Dixon fact: Willie Dixon kicked Chuck Norris' ass with Howlin' Wolf's guitar, then wrote a killer blues song about it.

Cujo just posted that they played Revival into the bass/drums segment, that is a new one. I'll have to check, but I don't think they have every done that before, at least not recently. I wonder if they will come back to Revival, or go into something else?

Probably just an encore after this jam wraps up.

Southbound with Junior Mack for the encore....

Looks like a good one! Can't wait to hear about I Ain't Superstitious, and the extended Revival with the drum solo. Those are both things I haven't heard before at an ABB show.

Good night everyone!

If a certain someone passed out at this show, well, he oughta be ashamed! A fine looking setlist indeed. I might have deleted Woman Across for something else, but that's about it.

Must be 8:37 to 10:48.

This band doesn't play 1 hour 11 minute shows.

Absolutely incredible night oif music.

Derek was on a different level as he seems to always be. Greg sounded good and strong early on, great singing, nice piano/organ solos, then backed off and it was a heavy guitar night.

Superstitious was incredible right out of Anyday.

Cuj is off by an hour they played 2+

Great night.

Ratdog bored the hell out of me.

Heavy rain, thunder and lightning until about 10.

Warren sang it as Derek churned out some great sounds.

I am a little jealous that is one fine set list. But I know tomorrow will be a good one. Great Woods always is.

Looks like a Whipping Post encore for us

Thanks for the concert call Chuck

"I might have deleted Woman Across for something else, but that's about it."

In a night full of highlights, Woman Across The River, was one of them, for sure.
I think it was Derek's biggest ovation of the night, when he finished his solo on that one.
Drum section was looking to roll back into the song after a short jam, and Warren waved them off. He and Trucks then preceded to trade licks for another few minutes. They did the tune some real justice.

Anyday was a real treat too. About 2,3 months ago was really getting into the "Layla" album alot, so that one was a welcome surprise to get.

WOW! This PNC was stunning! A++

Here is the correct setlist:

Allman Brothers Band
August 15, 2008
PNC Bank Arts Center
Holmdel, NJ

CD One:
01. intro
02. Don't Want You No More
03. Not My Cross To Bear
04. Trouble No More
05. Woman Across The River
06. Come and Go Blues
07. Ain't Wastin' Time No More
08. Hot 'Lanta
09. And It Stoned Me
10. Dreams

CD Two:
01. intro
02. Anyday
03. I Ain't Superstitious
04. Midnight Rider
05. Revival >
06. Bass/Drums >
07. Revival
~encore~
08. Southbound *

* w/ Junior Mack, guitar

Derek's solo on "Dreams" was fantastic.
"Anyday" was one of the best versions they have ever played.
Then Derek stayed out for "Midnight Rider" with Greg on keys, right into a smokin' "Revival"
cue up Junior Mack and we have a three way guitar duel!
