I don't know if it's a false memory or not , but I think Rerun from What's Happenin' did his trademark dance ( that dance was the best ) on the dance line once .

I used to watch those shows for...the dance moves. Yeah, that's it!

OMG!!!! That's great! Thanks for the laugh, it was much needed! I used to watch Soul Train, American Bandstand and the Steel Pier Show faithfully when I was a kid. I had a pair of very high wedge shoes and would dance on the slate in front of the fireplace while watching these shows. I got so carried away dancing one time that my shoes scratched the slate up and I ended up getting punished for a month....ah, those were the days...

I could do those splits in the day, now too dangerous, my testicles hit the floor.

The Celtics this year took a clip from AB. It became an instant classic. Gino Time was played on the scoreboard during the game.

I couldn't do it. My kick stand kept getting in the way.

That was awsome....loved the platform shoes.

I had totally forgotten but my aunt got to be on Soul Train and was dancing in the background, I don't think she got to go down the line, though. I should search Youtube and see if I can find her.

Great video! What a blast from the past - have to admit to getting some major chuckles out of some of those moves and clothes ... deja vu?

Brings back a lot of memories. I remember a show where the Isley Brothers were the guest. Ernie Isley could wail on a guitar. I have the "Wagon Train Dancers" in my sig. now.....lol
