The line-up for this years' Telluride Blues & Brews festival is so good, I'm considering it, but so far the lodging I have found is ridiculously priced way over the top.

Does anyone have any lodging suggestions that are say under $200 per night?

Honestly, most of the popular places in Colorado are ruined. Western Montana is repidly going that route also. East and west coast money playing cowboy and building multi million dollar "ranches"................ That is why high priced rooms, 50 buck meals, and lots of brand spankin' new cowboy boots on people that wouldn't know a buffalo from a cow....

Jeff - good luck! You may find getting any room (let alone under 200) this close to the fest to be a problem. BIGV probably listed your cheapest choice - camping. Another thought - Montrose. You may be able to find something there cheaper if you don't mind the hour 1/2 drive back and forth each day. I'm thinking that once you get near Telluride you'll need to park off road and they have shuttles that take you into town.
Good Luck.

btw - Ridgeway State Park is not too far from Telluride and has some really nice camp spots (anyway, the one I camped in once was great - large site, on a hill overlooking mountains and lake below, and very private)i
