On October 7, Bob Dylan will release TELL TALE SIGNS: The Bootleg Series Vol. 8. The two-CD, 27-song set contains previously unreleased studio recordings, demos, alternate takes, live tracks and rarities spanning 1989 to 2006, a rich period that generated the lauded Time Out of Mind, Love and Theft, Modern Times and Oh Mercy. A third 12-track disc is part of a limited-edition deluxe set in a hardcover slipcase with a book with photos of all of Dylan's singles. The 27-song version also will be issued in a limited-edition four-LP set.

This looks great. I think I'm a bigger fan of the Oh Mercy to present era of Dylan than the 60's stuff.

I've been waiting for something like this.

Im with u this is going to be good. I like the newer stuff but I also like the older stuff about the same. Even though Modern Times is my favorite

Sounds cool. I was never really much of a Dylan fan to I got Love and Theft and that is probably one of my favorite CD's. I will have to check this out. When is the release date?
