Going on a run this summer and needed some advice from any pros out there. We leave FLA for Raleigh tomorrow where we will see STS9/UM followed by a late-night UM on Thurs. Friday we drive to Portsmouth/Norfolk and see CSN before they die. Saturday we see Mule and RHD in Norfolk. Sunday we drive 200 miles to Vienna to see Black Crowes. Taking 3 days off to ride the Blue Ridge Pkwy, we go back to the coast and see Mule and Dumpstaphunk in Myrtle before driving another 350 to ATL and see Mule close out the summer run. Now, here's where it gets weird. My g-friend wants to then drive all the way to Bethel for Peachdog. We already have Jones Beach tix, which I thought we'd never use. Tell me its going to be worth the million in gas? We then drive through Baltimore coming home and see the Melvins (my fav band as a young-un) and Soulive. I hope to see some of you peeps at a Mule show or in the NE at ABB. And, oh yeah, we close the summer out going to Red Rocks for 2 days and then seeing Warren acoustic. Have I forgot anything???

Sounds like a hell of a plan. While in Myrtle Beach, check out the Biminis restaurant on Lake Arrowhead Rd. Its behind Club 2001 and across the street from the Kroger. Its in the corner of a small strip of stores. Small place, nice folks and some of the best seafood on the strand.

I can taste the oyster shooters right now.

While on this fantastic trip, do not ever turn on, be near a TV set of any type, shape or model.

Live for the music

Take it easy and enjoy the trip. Sounds GREAT. I live just outside Raleigh and will be at the STS9 and UM shows (both Koka both and late night). I'll also be seeing the Mule at the Myrtle Beach HOB (will be camping at the beach). I'm usually with 1 or more of my sons. Maybe we'll see each other
