As some of you know the Mule show was cut short yesterday due to violent weather! The day was nice around 12:00 when we arrived. Rose Hill Drive played at 12:30 (I think they were to go on at 1) and ended at 1:30. Mule came on shortly after 2. Around 2:30 the clouds were building behind us and to the left with lightning off to the distance. Just before 3 the clouds were ominous and fast to the right coming around the main hotel. Lexmark has a great pic we will post later. At this time the band was aware of the storm, the lightning was going off in all four directions, the winds was fast and wicked. It looked like a tornado would drop at any second. A few drops and then it opened up. The band left the stage except for Matt who was left to do a solo. After 5 mins he walked off. We walked 10 mins to the ferry in torrential downpours. The ferry left at 5 and took an hour to get back. Once back the lightning started again and torrential downpours again. What a day!

Sorry to hear the show was cut short by weather! That looks like an amazing site for an outdoor show! (The weather pics, however, are pretty remarkable!!! )

The storm raged with Lay Your Burden Down. It was as if God was demanding it. LOL. It was a great show even with the rain. Wish I could take a peek at the intended second set. Nice to meet you Eric. That walk back to the Ferry was one to remember for sure.

From mflax555...

i was down in front for the "whole" mule set. I got a setlist and shoved it in my coat so it wouldnt get ruined but when i made it back to the ferry it was in many pieces. but i just put it together and i must say, i'm really bummin' this show didn't happen. i could tell that the 'drums' was just matt stayin on stage while warren andy and danny took cover and tried to keep instruments dry, then they called it. but after Burden, from what i can make out of the setlist. this is what would have happened...

Perfect Shelter
Red House
Unring
I Think> Levee
Child of the Earth
I'll Be The One
32/20
(all i have for the last two songs are the first letters.)
(12 string) "H"
"S"

Any guesses
I believe "H" may be It Hurts Me Too, i can see the tops of other capital letters

From me...

Some of the gaps have been filled in... We knew the second set was going somewhere...

When the Levee Breaks was appropriate....

12 String could very well be It Hurts Me too but the "S" may be Soulshine is my guess...

Well I wouldn't say that H was It Hurts Me Too because that song is played in dropD tuning, not on a 12 string. My guess is going to be Hide Your Love Away because that one is played on a 12 string.

Great video Eric but where is the footage of the running and yelling and screaming when the skies opened up.

There was no running or screaming, we were all holding our beers to the sky showing Warren we were not afraid of a little rain.

yea, I think that's right, I could only think of it hurts me too, but had doubts because of the 12 string. I haven't seen them due Hide Your Love Away, but I bet it would have been great. Here's some footage...

During Sugaree you can see Warren look to the water on the right, that is where the storm clouds looked like they could put down a tornado.
