EDIT: I've seen this happen to other post, but this is the first time it has happened to me. Don't know what I can do to fix it.

You left out the URL tags. The program didn't know where the link ended.

I didn't add any html. I just copy and pasted the url, like I always do. But I see how yours is set up, so I'll try to fix it.

Thanks!

You ain't kidding! Charlie Daniels played on a lot of MTB' studio cuts, so if you saw them in concert without Charlie, it was a little bit of a let down. I saw them at least twice when he sat in, so that made it a really special show.

Did you watch the whole clip, Dave? Dickey and Chuck are on it, too, and Jimmy Hall.

Oh, they are on the second clip I added. 10 minutes of The Thrill is Gone

I had a red 1973 Plymouth Duster. Not as sporty as yours, but it had a tape player!

Our generation was very fortunate to experience those times. Looking back now, we were so lucky. Most of us probably saw the ABB and MTB play together, CDB, Wet Willie, Cowboy, even Skynyrd, a lot.

Marshall Tucker always put on a great show. No drama, no f*cked-up musicians, no late arrivals. They came to town and rocked your world, every time. They were the real deal, and seeing these old videos really brings back the old days for me.

I'd venture a guess to say he/she is an MTB insider.

It looks like I'll be interviewing Doug Gray in a day or so. I've seen the band live going back about 33 years, and have spent a little time with Doug so I have it covered for the most part. But, if you have a question that has not been answered or asked over the years, let me know here and I'll try and get it in.

Thanks

DH

That's the way they were every time I saw them - you always got your money's worth. Talking about a show I saw in San Diego at Balboa Stadium that featured the ABB, MTB, and the Outlaws is how I got to kknow Bobo - turns out he was at the same show. Good times.

I believe Bobo moved to Pittsburgh as soon as he found out you were living near him.

Don't you have some old ladies to push down?

Fellow West Virginian Ray Benson and Asleep At The Wheel did a fine version of Toy's "This Ol' Cowboy" on their last album,
