I know we've done this thread a couple of times, but I thought I'd bring it back. The song currently stuck in my head right now is Wouldn't It Be Nice by The Beach Boys.

"It Makes No Difference" The Band

Actually been stuck there for a while, ever since the Band/Danko thread a few days back. You can go insane from this. "Master of the House"

(Seinfeld reference)

Nothing currently playing up front, so the "You Don't Love Me" that is always playing in the back is more noticeable right now.

Lido Shuffle by Boz Scaggs. I don't even like the song, but I saw Boz the other night in Greenville and now I can't make that silly song go away.

TIME LOVES A HERO Little Feat (Waiting For Columbus)

So let us all sing together (as they do on that record!):

Well they say that time loves a hero
But only time will tell
If he`s real he`s a legend from heaven
If he ain`t he was sent here from hell

Hear me well
Seeing ain`t always believing
Just make sure it`s the truth that you`re seeing
Eyes sometimes lie, eyes sometimes lie
They can be real deceiving

I got an uncle in Puerto Rico
Spends his days in the sun
And his nights in the casinos
He left the States many years ago
Took a fishing boat to Puerto Rico
Now my aunt she is sad and lonely
She`ll never know that she drove him away
As a coward I admire his courageous ways

Well they say that time loves a hero
But only time will tell
If he`s real he`s a legend from heaven
If he ain`t he`s a mouthpiece from hell

Some say my uncle that he`s a zero
His life as a shell, he left it back at Stateside
I`d say he`s doing well without his shell
Bumming `round the beaches of Puerto Rico
The beauty of the sunrise and sunset
To his friends he wish he could tell
They`re at home still running for bells
Better San Juan than that blue collar hell

Well they say that time loves a hero
But only time will tell
If he`s real he`s a legend from heaven
If he ain`t he was sent here from hell

I remember when I was a freshman in college I got into the Doors. LIGHT MY FIRE got stuck in my head.......For some reason, the first week there I had Ray Manzarek's entire organ solo and Robbie Krieger's guitar solo in my head (the long instrumental break following Jim's vocals). That and the monotonous but catchy bass line as well.

"Flower from the Fields of Alabama"...Norman Blake

Actually, its been *deliberately* in my mind all night because I am in the process of commiting all the lyrics to memory so I can add it to my personal list of songs that I play and sing.
