Can anyone remember the show/date where the front of the house went down, I think it was due to several taping patches? Hence the reason for no public soundboard tapes after a certain year/show. I know it was back in the early 90's.
My bands in the middle of getting stiffed/not paid over our front of the house board going down. It's not normal to carry an extra console. We almost stopped the whole show but ended up running our monitor board with somebody out front running up to the side of the stage to make changes.
Naturally all I could think about at the end when they did not honor our contract was Twiggs but then I started thinking otherwise. The irony is this is in the Christian music world of all things. I guess my band carries the message but the lawyers will make the venue pay for theres. i just neded examples of when large shows where stopped completely due to PA system failures.
