Just received this the other day, and what a fantastic DVD. If there was a reason to own this DVD it has to be the most intense Cortez I have ever heard. To those that were there that must have been some experience. I have heard the Mule do Cortez at least 3 times and never came close to the intensity of that show. Warren unleashes 3 seperate titanic solos during the course of the song and even the presence of squeaky Dave Matthews on vocals cant subtract from this performance. As for the rest of the DVD, the Mule does All along the Watchtower (also w/ Matthews),Soulshine (reggae) w/ Branford Marsalis, Unring the Bell, Leaving Trunk (w/ Taj Mahal) and Mule (w/ Dave Schools @ Randall Bramlett). Great performances of all of the above. The Taj Mahal Trio has 3 songs represented, John Popper3, Marty Stuart 4 and the New Orleans Social Club 5. The footage and sound is top notch. Highly recommend buying this, and for those of you that were there, that must have been some show. Peace.

I was there and it did indeed blow me away. I can't wait to see the DVD.

I think its time for ABB to play that XMAS JAM. Big show every year.

Makes sense for them to be at the 20th Anniversary. Would love to see them, Soul Stew and Mule. A few more surprises of course as well. It is supposed to be for two nights this year.

Just got it the other day... It IS awesome. Man, I'm so glad that I didn't pass on it.

Incidentally, it was interesting to see Taylor Hicks in that kind of setting, who was actually quite impressive. (Not that I am familiar with him really anyway)
