Without looking very far I'll admit I always like these two songs below, Halfbreed and Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves. I'd have to do some research to see if there are any others. Anybody like these two songs?

Not much into the club scene but If I am convinced to go out dancing "Believe" is a good one.

"I've got you Babe" is one of the great pop singles of the 60s.

IMO

I think I have to agree with you wotty. I like that echo effect on "I Believe." And "I've Got You Babe" really captured some of the good vibrations of the free love sixties or early seventies.

There are probably a million "Best Of Cher" compilations out there. Pretty easy on the ears IMO. I like "Allman & Woman" too

"Got You Babe" has got one of the finest intros of any pop song released and when the drummer kicks in, you know, the "Wrecking Crew" was on the job

I always liked the "restart" at the end of "I've Got You, Babe". Great song! Probably one of Phil Spector's greatest jobs!

When it comes to her style of singing, I'm an Ethel Merman man.

I'm not a big disco fan, but I'd take Cher over Ethel.

Funny you should ask. Don't ask why, I couldn't tell you but, the other day was singing Half Breed to myself.

I was thinking what a politically incorrect lyrics those would be today as a new release.

Nancy Sinatra's cover of "Bang Bang" (featured in Kill Bill) is great.
