You could probably get a plane ticket for $200. Are you talking about mustard bbq sauce?
Sorry I can't help you with your request.

Maybe?

Haven't been there, but it is on next year's agenda (unless this isn't the "real" Rendezvous in Memphis). Dry ribs!

I work at UPS and I see a lot of packages coming from Burgers Smokehouse. I don't know what they have though. I see other dry ice packages come through I don't know who they're from but I'd bet a search on the internet would find you some BBQ

Glad to see someone chimed in for Dreamland! Yeah, they'll pack 'em up and FEDeX 'em to ya - complete with extra sauce and those little handi-wipes in packets (you'll need those!). Complete with heating instructions. You'll think you died and went to Heaven ... but you've only entered Dreamland!

But it's not the North Carolina style barbecue. I know what you mean - not the thin, vinegary sauce. But Dreamland is good stuff!

Man does this sound like the Adam's Ribs MASH episode! How about making your own? My dad, from W TN, could slow cook a pork butt in the oven, and make the vinegar sauce w/ cayenne pepper and a splash of ketchup. We'd garnish the sammich w/ shredded cabbage marinaded in the sauce. Yum.

I'll second Dreamland. It is simply the best BBQ around and the pride of Tuscaloosa, AL.

The easist thing for you to do would be to make your own. Get a 5-7 ib pork butt and cook it in a crock pot if you don't have the time or resources to do it over wood or charcoal. When doing it this way I add some fresh herbs to the pot. Sage, oregano, thyme and marjoram. Also, some red wine. Cook for about 6-8 hrs on low. When the meat falls apart, it's done. Remove from the pot, draining the liquid. When the meat is cool enough pull it all apart. Return to the pot and add the BBQ sauce. You can either make your own, or use store bought. Some people then add vinegar based cole slaw on the roll w/ the bbq. Bon apetite!!

Don't mean to ruffle any feathers here but you don't make BBQ in a crock pot or in the oven.

A Weber kettle grill works just fine for smoking meat

http://www.barbecuecenter.com/

It's in Lexington NC. I used it once to send 2 lbs of BBQ to my brother in Portland OR. I think the shipping was $60.

Chris,

That's western NC style Bar-b-que which is tomato based and completely different than the eastern NC style Bar-b-que which is vingar based.
