I saw Dickey up here in NJ a few weeks ago. Not the Brothers. But still pretty good.

We got our tickets yesterday too. Anybody planned a preshow party yet. There is a place right across the street from the venue that Bret and Jay says they have pretty good food.
What do you all think? It is called Moondogs. Kind of a old house looking place with steps that go up to a upper level porch. A lot of different drafts I understand as well.

What y'all think????

Staggering...I mean walking distance to the show!!!

I am the designated driver so I will be good. Looks like we are going to head back to the CSRA after the show....

All you folks going to the show are in for a treat IMO. I saw the band on 5/3 and they were great. Preceded by a great burger and a couple pints of Guinness at an Irish bar up the street from the venue. Have a good time

Due to funds not allowing me to take my wife to see Springsteen this year I may not see anything out of town. Marriage is a compromise when it comes to Bruce, he is the only concert she cares to attend. I told her if Bruce didn't work out in fairness I would skip the Brother this year.

I knows all about them funds! Week before payday and I'm grillin ribeyes outa da freezer tonight, istead of the Sat trip to the grocery store!! We quit takin week-at-the-beach vacations years ago since company houses with reasonable rent are a thing of the past. Just too rich for my blood and I'd much rather see a good show even if it's a drive up and back same night deal, or take a long weekend. However, music-wise, she owes me a couple! I gave her Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood tics for Christmas in Charleston and the same people setting gas prices must be settin Hotel prices there! Took one for the team financially, but actually Keith Urban was a very pleasant surprise! Carrie Underwood on the other hand, I wouldn't walk across the street to see her again with a free ticket. Extremely loud, I mean ear splittin, and spent the night ala Cher changing outfits every three songs or so! Sorry you won't be ther Friday nite, We'll miss you and hopefully we'll see each other somewhere down the road soon! In the mean time! Play AFE weekly, and do it often! Don't wait until the hands begin to shake and you get dizzy! feed the jones! Later WillieB
