After years of consistantly being ridiculed for putting mustard on my sandwichs,
I must know what the deal is.

I am told it is not a real condiment. Please. Which makes me wonder why it goes
great with soft pretzels or hotdogs. What's the problem with throwing some on a
Cheese sandwich? Or a Turkey and Cheese? Won't put it on an Italian hoagie.

My oldest son, Rory, detests it and will only put ketchup on everything.

I'm not into Mayo except on Bacon sandwiches and Tuna fish.

Someone help me out here.

I am here to help... Who cares what anyone else thinks - if you like mustard, then use it. I personally don't like it, but why shouldn't you have what you want? I am all for individuality. It is an American tradition to put it on hot dogs, wieners, pretzels, ham & cheese sandwiches, etc. Tell them your upholding American tradition.

Mustard in a squeeze bottle should be avoided at all cost because it clogs up.

Mustard is YELLOW, the color of the cowardly.

Mustard is the "tard" of condiments.

Mustard is a little musty.

Mustard simply can't pass muster.

Do you have any Grey Poupon?

I get the cheap stuff, Plochman's. Always been the most user freindly packaging to me and gives a smaller diameter stream than French's. I like that.

Never heard of anyone claiming mustard wasn't a proper condiment, I dig it. Actually it's ketchup I've never liked - too sugary, I'd rather just have a real tomato on my burger and some chipotle mayo for my fries.

I actually drove by the old Mustard Museum in Mt Horeb, WI, last weekend on a visit back to Wisco. http://www.mustardmuseum.com/

Ketchup is one of the few things that give me a case of mild heartburn. Tomatos and salso no problem.
Ketchup on a hot dog???? Maybe for Loraine Bobbit but not for me.

I cannot believe there is an actual Mustard museum.
That's too weird.

How was it anyway?

I agree-mustard only on a hot dog, but I am a little picky about my mustard. I don't like any of the Kraft style yellow mustards, so my bottom line is Gulden's spicy brown and then any other grainy mustard, plus grey poupon and other dijon style mustards.
Hot dogs-mustard
burgers- ketcup
eggs-ketchup
chicken, turkey etc.-mayo
combo of cold cuts with lettuce etc.-mustard one side, mayo on the other

Has anybody used mayonasie or Miracle Whip like buttter and used it to toast bread face down on a grill. Works handily in a pinch.

I am a mustard lover. I use to eat mustard sandwiches after school. I can eat mustard with just about anything. If its French's Mustard I can eat it by the spoonful. Hey love ketchup too......

Tell what is real good when the cabinets are bare, get some plain chips and spread some mustard on white bread and cover with potato chips........ummmm.

I didn't go in, but went there a few years ago as it's a well-known tourist attraction just outside of Madison. There's really not a whole lot to it, but it has a big store with enough specialty mustard and syrups, etc, for any one that appreciates a good spreadable, pourable or dippable.

Love mustard, hate mayonaise, ketchup only for fries. I prefer the horseradish mustards, but anything that's not bright yellow is ok, and even that is fine on Varsity chili dogs.

I have bad news for you - Kraft Foods owns Grey Poupon. Enjoy it before they ruin it.

I never understood ketchup on eggs, but I have begun enjoying goat cheese in my scrambled eggs. Then again, I dip french fries in mayo.

I started to use ketchup on eggs in college. They used those big bags of powdered
eggs mixed with water to mass produce scambled eggs. Ketchup gave them a glimmer
of taste ...

Never looked back.

2 c. flour, sifted

Combine all ingredients together and bake in cake pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Very moist cake and easy.
