"Bonerama"? I take it this is a very theatrical set.

Coincidentally, followed in descending order by, "The Wood Brothers".

Bonerama is a trombone-heavy funk band from New Orleans.

Get your mind out of the gutter, robslob!

Like Krishna said, HTN will be at All Good, so stop by the booth and sign up!

Thanks, Rob, but there's no hope for me.
I'd love to make it, but there's a bit too much going on by the Bay this summer for me to travel to W. Virginia for a festival. Damn, sounds like a rockin' good time, though.

Has anyone ever been to the Allgood Festival and do you have any good tips? How is the police prescence and how is the crowd?

Thanks.

call me jaded and a snob but I don't think the nicknames for allgood: nogood and allbad are too far off I went to allgood three years ago and did not have a good time at all. the nitrous presence is unreal.. too many trashy philly kids...lots of drugs, huge lot scene. I have talked to multiple friends and musicians and they all agree that allgood is one of the dirtiest festivals around. maybe they cleaned it up and maybe this year's line-up will draw a cooler crowd .. one can certainly hope so... i have a ticket and a ride and a hotel and im not going....... I am sorry I will miss lettuce and a few others but oh well...the cops weren't that bad but they had to form something called the nitrous mafia to deal with the nitrous.... what a horrible drug!

God that is nuts, it scares me to think of what my son will experience if or when he goes to concerts and parties when he grows up. Maybe I should start turning him on to KennyG and Barney concerts...

FESTIVAL SNOB!!.....You know I'm just kidden w/ you,Sweet Sister Saira!
I still think you should bring your Festival Barbie bootie to ALL GOOD & party with some of your Peach Family!!

And as for Nitrous Oxide & spun kids......that's unfortunately just a given at alot of festies & always has been.
Each festival has a variety of illegal thangs to get into....it's up to each individual person to make their own correct decision.
I know for a fact that All Good is tighter w/ security w/ not allowing glass bottles & glancing over your vehicle to see if you have any glass out in the open.

let's hope JB doesn't get tore up like he did last night at Rothbury. Jimmy and Ann Marie saved his ass. just thought of an example. During Sewing Machine he didn't come in where he was supposed to; in fact he had his back turned to the mic and Jimmy just laughed at him and the rest of the band followed Jimmy just like they would have Mikey. It was great to see.

Ayup, wifey & I went 2 years ago. Had a great time. Very low security, didn't see any major issues to speak of. Lots of open selling of various "wares". Some people even had signs i.e. "my rolls are the best" etc... Pretty funny and outrageously risky but all remained cool that I saw.

If you want decent position near the stage(s), get in early. It gets crowded. One negative is they don't allow you to bring chairs into the concert area, even the open back area. Not a major thing but it would have been nice.

Food to buy was decent. Portapotties everywhere and as dirty as you might expect. Bring lots of water. We camped way down the hill in an open area (rode in by motorcycle while on a 7 day trip). We had great privacy but it was a good 15 minute walk to the staging area back and forth but a nice walk and good exercise.

Have fun! We're going to GOTV's this year instead.

I'm there and I'm chomping at the bit to get out of work this week. I'm arriving early Friday morning and hopefully it won't be too late to get a decent camping spot.

From what I read, it looks like its going to be a great time.

Hope to see you there.

I was just looking at the festival lineup and I see that Gov't Mule plays the late night set on Friday night, 7/11, which is actually 2:00 AM at Saturday, 7/12. Then it struck me what road junkies these guys really are. I am seeing them here in San Jose tonight, and they're playing another show here tomorrow night. Think about it, an evening show in the Bay area on Thursday night, then a 2:00 AM show on Saturday morning in West Virginia? OUCH!! I assume the band will fly back there, but man, that's gonna be one tired bus driver hauling in their equipment.

I can't freakin wait for some ALL GOOD MULE!!!!
In fact....I can't wait for ALOT of the line-up!
Hope to see you there on Fryday, tfhello

And I do agree with you,robslob....Govt Mule/Warren are maniacs with their touring schedule.
Gotta respect the mastery that lies behind the scenes for a band being on 2 coasts w/ their own equipment, that quickly.
Gotta love the Mule!
