I don't like any type of artificial coating, so spicey curlies are out. I like real potato-ey fries. I love "boardwalk" beach fries (about the only type of fry I'll put vinegar on). I like a good thick steak fry every now and then. I also like Wendy's fries quite a bit. Usually Ketchup is the condiment of choice.
Great topic. I love almost any good, fresh french fried pertaters. And I'll usually order the bigguns.

reminds me... I hate ketchup on fries. Gotta have the vinegar, must be the Scottish in me.

The kind with the skins still on, like mama use to make. Just some salt and some ketchup for dippin. Mm-Mm, good!

Good old deep fried fries from a roadside chipwagon smothered in Vinegar, ketchup and salt, yes America, white Vinegar and not that Malt crap I mean the stuff your mom uses to clean around the toilet white vinegar

The best chipwagon in the word is located in Petawawa, Ontario and #'s 2-10 are located throughout the Ottawa Valley and the Western portion of the province of Quebec.

Also fries in a bag should be had with pepsi not coke, very important.

We have a place in Austell called " Five Guys, Burger and Fries". They are scattered across the U.S. . So you may have eaten their fries also.

Home style french fries with skins, if you get an order...small or large they always dump a large scoop of extra fries...it's like you have an order to eat on the way home and an order to eat at home.

I love em' with both Ketchup and Malt Vinegar. I usually have both.

Burgers/Dogs are damn good also......and you also eat all the in the shell roasted peanuts you can eat while you wait or dine in.

I like the regular fries, not the cajun.

For chain fries, I prefer Wendy's.

Miller's Hamburgers in Houston has the best "old style" fries.

There's this place in Delaware called Thrasher's...they're on the beach and the only thing they make are fries...nice, thick-cut fried (in peanut oil only) to perfection fries...touch of vinegar and salt on top....my mouth is watering just thinking about them

The best fries from the chains are Out Back. They also make an outrageous appetizer
of French fries covered in cheddar cheese melted and real bacon bits. It is irresitable!!!
