George, George
George of the Jungle,
Strong as he can be.
(Ahhhhhhhh)
Watch out for that tree.

George, George,
George of the Jungle,
Lives a life that's free.
(Ahhhhhhhh)
Watch out for that tree.

When he gets in a scrape,
he makes his escape
with the help of his friend,
an ape named Ape.
Then away he'll schlep
on his elephant Shep
While Fella and Ursula
Stay in step.

Well....George, George
George of the Jungle,
Friend to you and me.

Watch out for that tree.

Rocky and Bullwinkle-the only cartoon my Dad and I would laugh at together, but for different reasons and on different levels.
Courageous Cat- Great theme music, and that gun he had that could do everything. Also love The Frog as the villian.
The old B&W Popeye cartoons, where he mumbled half the words and you never knew what the hell he was saying.

The old B&W Popeye cartoons along with the older Lonney Tunes were and are my favorites. I can watch them anytime. Courageous Cat was cool when I was a kid but wouldn't float my boat anymore.

Wow, don't even get me started here. Huge Looney Tunes fan and Simpsons, of course. Loved the 1940s Fleisher Superman shorts and the Batman cartoon from the early 90s and it's art deco look. Samurai Jack is another one I love to look at - great style. Still can't believe the quality South Park still maintains after all these years. Lately I can't get enough SpongeBob for some reason. Big fan of Don Hertzfeldt - if you haven't heard of him check him out:

By the way, I've got two more Porkchop Bob cartoons in the works, hope to have one of them done in the next month or so, and they're looking a lot better than the last installments (here's a segment from that last one if anyone missed it:

The Adventures of Porkchop Bob: THE BIRDIE BRAIN TRAIN

or see them in all of their amateur glory at http://www.porkchopbob.com/theshorts.html
