Gov't Mule is coming back to Navy Pier july 14 th., tix on sale now, I saw Mule there in june of '05 I believe, its a Great time, so bring all Your Friends and Neighbours, it was a chilly night back in '05 and the crowd a little sparse. Lets fill it up this time. I grabbed 4 today, wasn't paying attention and accepted seats way off to the right of stage, but I'm just stoked about this show....Peace........joe

Last time we met at Riva's and sat outdoors for a couple pre-show drinks. Any ideas for this year? I haven't been to Navy Pier for a while - I see there is a Billy Goat's, a Charlie's Alehouse, Bubba Gump's, and a Dock Street Cafe. Not sure which one is closest to the Skyline, but I am up for meeting up early......

I haven't been in awhile but figured I'd walk over from my office. Could also take one of the free trolleys. Weather permitting being outside int he summer is always nice.

So, any ideas? Looks like Charlie's Alehouse and Billy Goat's are before the stage, and Riva's is just past it......

Monday night was completley over the top for me. Anytime You run into such wonderful Friends as Sang and Chicagofan, it is a Treat, and on top of that Gov't Mule kicked really major ass. I thought from reading recent setlists, that this show would be a goodun, for Me it was just x-tra wild. This band seems to be reaching new places live that I haven't seen since I got onboard the Mule Train in 2003. Just grooving flawlessly and rocking incredibly hard. The crowd was much, better than it was here in '05 and Warren commented on that, great atmosphere, diverse crowd in my section partying and having a great time. I was a little surprised at the zealousness with which the security performed their patt down duties, but I got over it, guess it's for the best. If You are down the road waitin' to see Mule this tour, You are in for a special show............PEACE.......joe
