A freind of mine and I landed a gig at a new restaurant in Aiken called Sugar Magnolia's...

Only had to play a couple of hours. Got good pay, dinner and all the beer we could drink... (I only had 2 )...

The crowd clapped loudly after every song. A nod to the ABB with "Stormy Monday"

Back home by 8:45...

Ya'll should have heard me singing "Franklins Tower" (from a lyric sheet )

Note to self....You might have to buy susea a new camcorder....

I cant sing and play at the same time, at least on 99.9% of songs.... God, I wish I could, but this turned out pretty nice. And I never even heard the Dead's version. I was thinking of how Oteil sings it with the ABB....

John that sounded like a "dream" gig! Let's see: Good pay? Check. Food and drink comped? Check. 2 hr. gig that ended at a decent hour? Check. Appreciative audience? Check. Man you got all the bases covered. Heck I bet the ABB is jealous. Congrats and many more like those. Peace Bro.
