Was planning on trying to catch their Snowmass show but that's not going to work out. Would love to see them in KC at the Uptown but I'm guessing that logistically that will be a toughy, also. So many shows...so little time (and $$$!)

I saw them last night in Columbia, SC and they blew the roof off of the Township Auditorium! Check out this setlist...

4/29/08
Township Auditorium
Columbia, SC

1: Henry Parsons Died, Walkin' (For Your Love) > Blackout Blues, Free Somehow, Wondering > Walk On > Maggot Brain > Tie Your Shoes, Space Wrangler

2: Three Candles, Ride Me High, Give, Blight > Drums > Stop-Go > Imitation Leather Shoes, Ophelia, North

E: Pickin' Up The Pieces, Weight Of The World

I've been to four Panic shows in the past couple of weeks and I have heard some the best live music played in years. It's good to see these guys playing at a top notch level along side of Jimmy Herring!

I'm going to try and hit the Boston show too. That Red Rocks run would be the way to go though! Would have been great to have them play at Red Rocks the days before ABB/Mule Labor Day instead of them playin' Aspen!

Since there's no Pittsburgh show (again!), I'm planning on heading to Cleveland on 7/18.

All throughout Spring tour (especially April), they've been busting out some tunes they haven't played for awhile -- "Heathen," "Use Me," "Help Me Somebody"...and what is "Coach"? Is this a new original?

Last saw them in Spring 2007 (Cleveland and Pittsburgh). Jimmy tears it up! Personally, I think he blows George away. Any thoughts?

Coach... It's a tune (I think) from Todd's band "Barbara-Q" or something like that

Whenever I'm at Red Rocks for ABB, I stay here...

Denver Marriott West

7 miles to Red Rocks and often the bands stay there! Plenty to do in the area. Search around their site... http://www.redrocksonline.com/index.asp

Widespread Panic was top notch well before Jimmy Herring joined in with them.

Heath, are you sure it's JJ? I'm looking at my seating chart and it doesn't even have that row in Sec 1 or 3? The last row is HH. Unless they added more chairs, which is possible. You could have done better than that and you're not on Jimmy's side! I did take a look at the sale and as usual with Musictoday, they sart out with nothing available then as time goes on the seats get better and better. Closest I saw was row K but off to the side so I kept throwing them back. I would rather sec 2 or 3. As of right now, sec 3 row W is coming up. I do know you'll have a great time though!

Sue, here's the seating chart I found on Ticketmaster

I'm not on Jimmy's side, but I still think I'll see him OK!

OK, they added a JJ and KK over the last couple of years. The chart I have shows you seat numbers so you know where to avoid and what is good. The only problem with this place is it's all one level so there's no incline which would make the viewing better. You're not short though so you should be OK. What seat number did you get?

I got seat number 5 so I'm over to the side. When I saw ABB last year in Boston I was in the last row of section 5, so I'm definitely alot closer for this show!
