A local band to you from Hastings, Dave?!

I'm heading for The Pillars Of Hercules in Greek Street, if you have time for a drink.

I think they are from Cornwall, the band I play with was on the same bill in Brighton last year - they have a couple of really nice tunes.
We just noticed that the trains are all screwed up ( there's a surprise...... - the trains are the reason why I stopped going to shows in town in recent years ) - we are just discussing the ups and downs of driving. So, if we make it, we'll head to the pillars for sure. Fingers crossed, will be nice to see you, has been a while !

Good to see you and Helen (briefly), Dave.

I loved the MKB - the 15 minute or so number which started with Papa Was A Rolling Stone and ended with Living In The USA was IN-CRED-IBLE!

And a fantastic Hot 'Lanta too.

I love the jazziness in MK's playing and the rest of the guys are great too. I can't judge the keyboard player too much as he was having a bit of a nervous breakdown over a technical fault! The boss had his back to him most of the show but, on the few occasions when he did engage, he was giving an evil eye!

They played for two hours virtually non-stop and no way was MK letting up for an emergency repair!

Hope to see you again before long. Good luck with TEG.

Edit - I expect you missed William The Conqueror (solo) but he was pretty good too and went down well.

Thanks Gordon,
Nice to see you in there, eventually found you lurking behind your pillar !
It was indeed a fab set, King seems to be able to play effortlessly.... he's doing things subconsciously that people study for years to be able to do. I heard a bit of every guitar player I've ever listened to coming through in his playing. It was really giving me tingles like the first time I saw Trucks play - although King seems to have more vocabulary to choose from against Trucks' more individual sound. The whole band was working so hard - you can tell a lot of effort goes into what they do.
Great band, we had a fab eve - so glad we made it !

P.s. Anyone wanna buy a guitar ?

Just when we thought Warren had given up all hope on the U.K. Ticket purchased for Manchester Ritz, possibly the best live venue in Manchester.

Glad for all the fans who usually travel so loyally to London that they are taking it to the provinces - Bristol and Holmfirth last year, Edinburgh, Dublin, Manchester and Cardiff this.

Also this very exciting news:

Later this fall, we will return to Europe including the first ever Halloween performance abroad. Those of you who follow our "mule-vements" know we always do something special to commemorate All Hallows Eve. Being able to do so this year, for the very first time in Europe, is extremely exciting for us. It's something we’ve been thinking about and hoping to do for several years.

So i wonder if that Mule-o-ween show will be the Paris show on october the 30th or another show will be announced for the actual Halloween date on tuesday the 31th ??? Keeping my fingers crossed for a Paradiso, Amsterdam show!

FWIW Daryl Hall & John Oates headlining plus Chris Isaak at Bluesfest at the O2 on 28th October.

I can't see that being a big draw...but what do I know?!

Assume Mule at the IndigO2.
