I paid $3.32 yesterday.

According to Bush, we are not in a recession, just a "slowdown."

One of the places I drive by every day to and from work was up to $3.48.

Bend over and take it like an American.

$1.21 per litre, which equates to (1US gallon = 3.79 Litres) $4.59 per gallon and based on the fact we have lots of oil up here in Canada, you can imagine how pissed we all are that we are paying a $1.00 more. Crazy business to say the least.

It is a slowdown

I don't speed anymore and I've slowed down on the number of places I drive to.

$3.50 a gallon.
Like ol' Condi said " We're in Iraq for the prize, and the prize is oil."
Gotta love it, must be workin' out for her on her end of the deal.

Delta AL reported a 5 billion + dollar loss the 1st quarter...looking really good out there.
They are in the middle of a merger with Northwest. update, the combined reached a loss of 10.2 BILLION dollars. Can you say breakup.
United is prepared to reduce seat capacity.
Don't be suprised if United is gulped up by another airline soon.
We'll be down to 2 or 3 major airlines in the US pretty soon at this rate. Alot less seats and they will go for a premium.
Can you say choo choo ?

Went to $3.42 yesterday.

The commodity price for May and June delivery looks to have stabilized around $3.00.
For my local market, i.e. plus tax and jobber and retail markup, that equates to about $3.65 at the pump. I expect that in the next 2 weeks.

The fundamental problem remains the overpriced Euro. Until the European Central Bank cuts rates, the Euro will continue to be overvalued, and the de facto means of exchange for all commodities. The ECB continues to resist rate cuts, even to the detriment of its own members. The economies of Germany, Spain, Italy among others are heading south fast, but Europe--especially Germany and the Scandinavian countries--are preoccupied with inflation, remembering their post-WWI experiences. If economies in Europe continue to weaken, there will be more pressure on the ECB to cut rates. But this is not imminent. May not happen this year. Until the ECB cuts rates, the Euro will remain articifically high, and people elsewhere will have to pay the equivalent of Euros in their local currencies to buy commodities like gasoline, wheat, copper, in the world markets.

Over here in the U.K it has just hit 4.20 a gallon. That equates to $9.00. And I don't think we have seen the last of the price increases this summer.

Thank you Mr Greenspan !

My taxes are a few pennies less than yours, but I paid $3.75 last night at a place that's usually cheapest around. Probably a nickel to a dime more at the major chains.

most I have seen in south milwaukee/franklin WI are around 3.75 but I also saw one as low as 3.69....glad we bought the prius.......

this election is so so important.....I pray that our new leaders will seriously consider the state of our world in regards to polution, global warming and alternate fuel sources. More cities need to make public transportation a top priority as well...
