It's hard coming back to the "real" world. But I'm home. Bought two game chicken biddies by the side of the road on the way out. Other than that, it's back to me, the basset hounds and the cats.

Love you all. Sincerely. From the bottom of my deep, deep heart.

Many kudos to all those who truly "show [thier] neighbor what friends are for, with an open heart and an open door."

XOXO
~Rebecca

Hey All!!
Helen and I JUST made it home and unloaded the RV (my first time driving one of those..........it was interesting!)
I have no voice and am sweaty and sunburned and exhausted and just HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! (although very sad its all over!!)
I was SO glad to see all those who came, helped, laughed, played amazing music for us, cleaned, carried, hugged, cooked, LAUGHED etcetcetc.
I also want to say how much we missed those of you who could NOT make it this year. You were GREATLY missed and SO many shout-outs went out to you all........prayers were sent, tears were shed and I want to personally thank Lana and Oteil for the beautiful and heartfelt prayer circle that happened on Saturday noon. SO many angels were swooping and being sent on their way to those who need them! From a marvelous group of very special people and their energy and love.
In closing (for now!! shower is in the very near future!) I just need to say how loved and protected and enveloped I feel amongst all of you amazing people.

Thank you all so much for so many things. I just love you all more than I can possible express..........sleep well everyone..........
Nancy (Your Wanee Ho!!!!)

I lost my voice, too, as I did last year. I call it the curse of Wanee dust. That is one dusty place, but it's such a good time, who cares about the dust??

Matt (the deadhead) and I are back in a cold Cincinnati today but our hearts are still warm from all the love you all showed us the last few days. We could not have asked for a better experience than we had at our first wanee. I just want to say thanks to you all – the music was great, but the new friendships we made were priceless. The Saturday morning circle was beautiful… glad we got back to the Hilton in time for that. Oh yeah – Luke’s BBQ, Sista Bluz chili and the best jello shots known to man were pretty sweet too… Nancy and He len it was all just awesome. Thank you all so much. – Jim.

Hey Mr. and Mrs. Yankweed, thanks for the great hats. Everyone LOVED them. And thanks Helen's Hilton for being there for us. I had a great time at Wanee. I loved the jams and I loved meeting everyone again or for the first time. What a great vibe this family has. See you all next year if not sooner. Ang

Thank you all for your gracious hospitality you showed me--and a heck of a lot of others--this weekend! I loved being with you these past few days. Smiles, laughter, prayer, tears, hugs, food, drink, friendship, love...

What love I felt at the Hilton. Thursday's Country Broil was awesome. From then it was back to the hill to push the fog machine button.

That hill is a blast!

Thanks to all!

WOW..........what a great time. Thank you Helen and crew for creating a atmosphere that was so relaxing and full of good vibes. Lana was right when she claimed us all as one big family. It felt like a big family reunion. It was great putting the faces to the usernames we have seen so much.
Susie and I are so proud being part of the family. Our friends that joined us from across the big pond (Israel and Scotland) seemed to really enjoy their visit. If folks from around the world ever have a chance to gather with this bunch.........the world would be nothing but Peace and Harmony.

One particular event which turned out to be my favorite time at Wanee was the Prayer Circle. Thanks Lana and Oteil for letting every one share their prayer requests. It worked for our family. While we were at Wanee, we got a phone call from my sister, letting us know my Father (87 yrs), while at the beach, had to be rushed to the hospital with congested heard failure. Shortly after the Prayer Circle, we received another phone called letting us know he was OK. Actually, he was released from the hospital Sunday and beat us back home.

Now Susie and I know what Lana means when she says, Take Care and Know You are Loved.
You all are a great bunch, we are looking forward til our next gathering. It was great meeting you all.....................................

Pictures will follow.

Hey JOE BELL!!!! you all need to do a story on "Helens Hilton"
