We are starving on the West Coast for ABB. Is there no fans out here?
Why don't we get more shows out here?

There are tons of fans out here. Lots of fans on this board as well. I'm from Concord myself.

I think the lack of ABB out here must be due to some kind of court injunction against one of the drummers. They sell a lot of tickets out here, so I think that is the only explanation.

agree that a west coast run would be great.

you can see Mule at McDowell Mountain Music Festival, Scottsdale AZ
http://www.mmmf.net/

and

DTB at Desert Rocks Festival, Moab UT
http://www.desertrocks.org/

not the same as ABB but its the best we got for now.

Actually, it's a restraining order, and the drummers aren't allowed in Cali anymore

A tragedy, and a darn shame, I tell ya

But an upside to all this,

Great weather

The band is older and air travel is far from pleasant these days.. if they can make enough coin playing the east coast, it is probably more practical for them to do so.

What is this drummer California restraining order thing all about? Is this some joke I don't get(again)?

Well, since Gregg, DTB and Mule play out here every time they tour, but the ABB hasn't played out here in years despite selling lots of tickets every time they did play (way back when they played west of the Rockies), it has to be one of the drummers fault for not making it out to California. I see no other explanation!

I'm an Oregon fan..This topic has been widely discussed over the years..It must be a logistical problem..The West Coast population centers are much more spread out than on the East Coast..It makes hauling all the equipment quite expensive and time consuming..My wife and I use it as an excuse to travel to see them play..Red Rocks, Santa Barbara, Beacon..It's all good..But a "home game" would be cool..

Maybe west coast venues don't like people playing without shoes. No shirt, no shoes, no concert.

This looks like a beautiful environment for a fest and great line-up this year. Anybody ever been?

I do wish they would come West more, but I'm happy to have seen three Warfield shows, and one at the Mountain Winery, and one at the Greek Theater at Berkeley in the past 6 years.
