I heard from one of the crew guys I know for one of the bands, they originally canceled the show but Mule and moe. and Mules agent stepped up to the plate and and called all the bands and the promoters and cut deals for the show to continue. they felt a lot of people already spent money and had plans and they should not bail on them.

bravo mule, moe., hard head and everyone else that stepped up to the plate to save a lot of heartache...

Kinda puts all that $20 Mule DVD bellyaching in perspective.

I don't know much about moe., but this sounds like something Mr Haynes, et al, would do. Admirable.

Interesting. Which is why I am encouraging people to keep their Wanee plans. What else can you do but go forward. I know my hotel is past the cancellation point and that my airfare is non refundable. So this makes sense and I am glad to see the concern for the fan perspective. Also, and I've said it in a few threads, it is a good opportunity for us to collectively send healing vibes to Gregg. We all know the power in that.

Thanks for the info jamchick.

Exactly what I thought, Brock...smacks of fan consideration and the positive stuff I've read/heard about Warren.

Great story.

I still think everyday how I wish we could have convinced Mike Callahan to get professional help. Homeopathic remedies don't work for Hep C.

Mike was a good friend and a great person. Those who knew him certainly miss him now..........

I have missed him a LOT today....
Last year on Red Dogs birthday he called me just after I hung up from calling Red Dog. Before that I had called Kim to tell him it was Red Dog's birthday as well as his friend Hollywood's birthday.
I miss Callahan so much some days still...

As for Wanee, I want you all to remember the good times you had while you were there before that did not happen during the ABB shows. That was the last time I got to see Callahan and hang out with him before the ABB went on last year, so please if you made the plans to go then GO!

I'm quite sure the Mule, Ratdog, moe., etc. will all step it up a notch to fill the void left by the ABB's absence.
