Anyone besides myself lucky enough to get a show this year. He's here in Houston May 4 in one of only 4 in North America (as of now anyway). It's the Dark Side of the Moon tour and I believe it just an extension from last years tour. Did anyone catch last years show?

I caught it 2 summers ago in Jones Beach, NY. It was a fantastic show. Great night of music for anybody who likes Floyd. I didnt know he was still doing the DSOTM tour though.
Enjoy!

Next year will be the 30th anniversary of The Wall.

I'm hoping we get something special for that.

Caught the show last year and myself and all the peeps I attended with agreed - amazing, amazing show. Believe that was my 4th Roger Waters show and I have never been disappointed - he really brings it on. Enjoy your show!

I saw at the Hollywood Bowl the night after I caught Mule at that theatre in down town LA. Great show but I thought that Doyle Bramhall was missing.

we saw roger waters at darien lake (in the buffalo area) last summer and it was one of the best shows i've been to in years! my husband is not a floyd fan & didn't even really want to go, but by the time the show was over, he admitted that he really liked the whole show & definitly had a new appreciation for roger waters & pink floyd!

I was very fortunate - I was front row, center at MSG - right at Roger's feet - all night. Had a lot of fun with the security guy there too.

What a great show!

One of the things I remember was how much effort Roger made to connect with people in the crowd. He walked back and forth all night, scanning the crowd, making eye contact and exchanging smiles. He clearly doen't deserve the title some have given him: "gloomest man in rock". He seemed genuinely warm to everyone. He's come a long way since spitting on some fans that were pushing up to the stage in Montreal in 1977. I think he works harder now to acknowledge the fans, given that low point in his personal history.

And when they brought out the Harlem Boys Choir for the encore, doing Another Brick In The Wall - he positively doated on those kids. Other than the lyrics he sang, he stood to the side or behind them for the whole tune, encouraging them and giving some gentle directions.

Of course, the sight of him standing there with a giant, sh!t-eating grin as 20 kids danced, pointed, and screamed "we don't need no education!!" is something I'll never forget!

no sh!t! everyone was into the whole show, but when they played "another brick in the wall" it was on! we all became young kids again, chanting our anthem of rebelion!

Is it Reg, or is it Rog?

(referencing the Reggie character / caricature from the Pros & Cons - killer poster from the tour.) Still have that tour book and the impression burned into my mind from sitting in the first few rows of the Omni oh so long ago...)

Thanks for keeping it going Rog!!!

YOWZA!!! Fuji, your pics are remarkable - I just got shivers and a semi-flashback to my show last year. I love Roger - he is so theatrical and emotional in his performances and you are so right that he doesn't deserve the gloomy gus mantle! Thanks for sharing those pics! Very cool about him getting the Harlem Boys Choir into the show and allowing them their glory, too.

Speaking of Roger, I borrowed "Ca, Ira" from the library about a month ago and gave it a listen and a half.

Maybe I'm just ignorant as to what's good opera and what's not, but it didn't do much for me. There were one or two little segments that I found interesting, but overall, . . . eh . . .
