Had a few silk type shirts ( man the wind blew right through tose) and a few pair of the checkered pants with the cuffs. Herb Tarlick woulda killed for my wardrobe. No white belts, no white shoes.
Munsingwear Penguin was usally the shirt of my choice.
These clothes lasted a year or so then it was back to dungarees and bananna shaped straw cowboy hats.

Wow, the seldom heard "Herb Tarlick" reference! The Doctor and the Flytrap would be so proud.

I mostly had flared blue jeans. My grandma would sew material in to the leg to create the flair.

I have to admit that I did wear leisure suits in the late 70's....for dress up only. I posed for my senior portrait in a pea green leisure suit with a darker green floral design silk shirt, shirt collar out over the leisure suit collar.

Back then it was fashionable. Nowadays, it's considered hideous.

And the ZZ Top song is Sharp Dressed Man. "Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man"

Be careful what you wish for. I have one....

But it's 30 years old and all it does is remind me how old and fat I am getting.

i'm proud(my wife is not) to say i've been wearing the same outfit style for about 40 years now:
summer-long baggy shorts,sneakers,t-shirt
winter,most of fall & parts of spring(otherwise see summer outfit)-jeans,t-shirt,black boots,flannel shirt,black leather jacket,hooded sweatshirt,dark blue man-tailored shirts
work-used to be a suit, now see winter, fall, spring list

of course all these parts are interchangeble & used based on current weather conditions at a particular moment!!

as for those outfits shown here....well i never got em.....

LOL!!!
